Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, flat to rounded resting surface, rounded undersurface, incompletely trimmed from foot. Body rising unevenly at ca. 30 degrees with slight convex profile to squared lip. Turning ridges visible on exterior.
Decoration:   White slip on interior, red paint on exterior. Interior: stylized sgraffito bird covering most of floor, directed rt., missing beak, with head tilted, wings partly spread; large circle for eye, double lines with fringe on neck, hatched tail, 2 rows of wavy lines on lt. wing; 4 circumference lines below lip. Painted green streaks descending from lip. Clear glaze on interior. On exterior, row of overlapping slip-painted circles.
Material:   (Largely covered): tan clay with fine black, white inclusions.

Condition:   Complete profile. Nine joining frgts., complete profile; complete plate except for two small chips from foot, two holes in upper body to lip.
