Description:   Cup with flaring ring foot, flattened resting surface, rounded undersurface. Straight flaring body at 25 degrees, turning up to ca. 65 degrees for tall straight rim, pinched to make at least 6 scallops, round lip. Two vertical strap handles attached to body and just below lip.
Decoration:   Red painted vertical stripes in fluting. Yellow glaze irregularly applied over all, leaving foot, underside largely reserved, also insides of handles and body, rim to either side.
Material:   Fine clay fired very pale pink, fracture rough.
Condition:   Complete profile. Eleven joining frgts., all foot, lower body, ca. 1/4 rim, both handles. Note: old glue on one body break.
