Description:   Deep convex lid, flattening slightly to broad rim, articulated by a shallow groove, interior flange inturned slightly from vertical. Solid small knob handle. See C-1934-524, C-1935-412 for shape.
Decoration:   Exterior painted with creamy thick slip from top down, 5 rings circling handle, band of zigzag lines, 4 rings, broad
band of solid oval-shaped discs, 4 rings. Broad green band irregularly painted below and over zigzag band, curving up in a loop to handle base. Colorless glaze over exterior and handle. See C-1934-524, C-1935-412 for decoration.
Material:   Fine red clay with 1% fine white inclusions, rare tiny voids.

Condition:   Complete profile. Complete profile, 9 joining frgts., preserving half circumference of rim, ¾ body, all handle.
