Description:   Rather deep kotyle, flaring convex body, small ring foot. Horizontal loop handles.
Decoration:   Black Figure style. One horizontal glazed line below the lip and vertical wavy lines between handles. Animal frieze: two lions to r., a bird (swan?) to r. Applied purple on mane and chest of lions. Filling ornament: unincised heavy crosses and many blobs. Thin, widely spaced rays at base. Edges of ring foot painted; resting surface reserved; undersurface reserved with two concentric bands. Interior painted solid except for a reserved line at lip. Handle reserved except for a horizontal stripe. Heavy slapdash incisions, disproportional drawing with careless use of applied paint.
Material:   Buff clay. Brownish black paint, partly worn off. Applied purple paint.
Munsell Color:   10 YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Missing parts. Mended from many fragments. Missing few parts of rim and side. Restored
