Description:   Aryballos with rounded bottom, ovoid body with max. diam. near bottom, tapering to narrow neck, horizontal outturned rim, small vertical handle attached to top of body and underside of rim.
Decoration:   Rim: rosette of red and black tongues on top; dots on edge; body: black tongues on shoulder; animal frieze framed above and below by 2 black lines: 2 lions facing, owl to lt. between them; tails of lions meet behind below handle. Red overpaint on animals, dots on owl's wing; field thickly sown with solid incised rosettes of varying sizes. Bottom: tongues. Amyx: Red Dot Painter
