Description:   Outturned rim with pronounced scraped groove after application of glaze.
Decoration:   Mold made decoration of an idyllic scene. On calyx, small fronds between large fronds, eight pointed rosettes between the large frond tips; on wall, birds and foxes running right with upturned necks; on rim, small four petalled palmettes between raised bands. Lustrous black glaze on wall and lower rim, red glaze on upper rim with scraped groove reserved. The foxes on the wall are similar to those noted as Workshop of Reservoir 1926-2 by Edwards, "Corinthian Moldmade Bowls: The 1926 Reservoir," Hesperia 55, 1986, and also in Athens, Agora XXII pl. 25 n. 130.
Material:   Fine pink clay with frequent medium brown and black inclusions
Munsell Color:   5 YR 7/3 pink
Condition:   Fragment. 10 joining frgts. Preserve one third of rim, wall, and calyx. Section RIP. Glaze very well preserved.
