Description:   Proto-kotyle with ovoid body with high maximum diameter, from which contracts to offset lip. On interior, lip curves without break into body. Horizontal handle, canted, set at maximum diameter.
Decoration:   On exterior, lower half apparently solid black, reserved handle zone with 3 black stripes, narrow chevron band H00.012, bend to r., stripe above, lip reserved with thin stripe at edge; on interior, narrow reserved stripe with bars, remainder black. Handle back black, with broad stripe surrounding attachment and cutting into chevron field; handle roots reserved.
Material:   Fine buff clay with rare fine to coarse voids.
Munsell Color:   Slightly grayer than 10YR 7/3
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving upper half body to lip, right half of one handle.
