Decoration: | Painted in lustrous red-brown glaze: lower body probably glazed solidly; handle zone reserved with 4 red-brown stripes, chevron band with bend to r., H00.011, lower legs in more dilute glaze; stripes and band interrupted by broad stripe outlining handle root; one stripe above chevrons, stripe at base of lip, stripe on tip of lip; on interior, reserved stripe with groups of bars - parts of 2 preserved, remainder glazed. | |
Material: | Fine buff clay, fired to light salmon-pink at core, with frequent fine voids. | |
