Decoration: | Exterior glazed light olive brown (2.5Y 5/6), with thicker drips of glaze coming down from the lip; interior glazed, pale yellow (5Y 7/4) to pale olive (5Y 6/4) in color, wih all incised and impressed decoration accentuated in olive (5Y 5/4); incised around outer perimeter are seven wide lines, the outer six of which are crossed at regular intervals by groups of five short, thin lines, creating a cross-hatched pattern; inside this outer border is an incised scene featuring a rabbit - the rabbit is crouched with its feet facing the border, has a large bulbous body, a short, pointy tail, and long, pointed ears; to either side are other animals, although they are broken off and difficult to distinguish; the background is filled with impressed dots | |
