Decoration: | Very pale brown (10YR 7/4), unglazed slip on exterior (self slipped?), and bright green (not on Munsell scale) glaze on interior; shallow incised decoration depicts a human figure with a pointed chin, strands of wavy hair behind head to the right, and a conical neck; he or she wears a loose gown-like garment, the body of which is filled by rows of incised vertical or diagonal lines, while the upraised right arm, is covered in a scale-like pattern; at the bottom hem of the gown is a thin horizontal band with no filling, below which the vertical line pattern above resumes. | |
