| Description: | Shallow bown with a plain, vertical ring foot and flat undersurface and rising to a roughly echinoid body. | |
| Decoration: | White (2.5Y 8/1) to pale yellow (2.5Y 8/2) slip on exterior, everywhere but the resting surface of the foot - exterior is glazed; on interior, the white slip has been glazed a light green; in the center is a figure incised into the surface and painted light olive brown (2.5Y 5/4); the figureis at a full run to the left, and his right knee is located near the center of the base; he has a long, pointed nose and face, wears a conical, cross-hatched hat that extends down the front of his nose and back of his head; he has a conical neck on which are incised several horizontal lines; his head is left light with incisions depicting details, while his body is a single continuous incision, creating a silhouette effect; his left arm and leg are behind him, and the latter ends in a long straight foot, pointed down. In the fields around are several fill designs: a snake-like one behind the figure, a shorter one below his foot, and a Pi or Alpha shaped one near the bottom of the preserved surface | |
