Description:   Open vessel with slight convex curve, possibly lekanis lid.
Decoration:   Underside glazed; upper side decorated in red-figured technique. Around top center, perhaps encircling base of knob, reserved band with border of dilute glaze and dots. Below, in figured zone, upper torso of female in frontal pose with head in profile to l. Hair gathered in sakkos, from which curls hang down in front of left ear. Open eye triangular shaped, open at inner corner, pupil indicated by short vertical line at outer corner. Wears peplos, pinned at shoulders, with rows of zigzags over chest. Right arm out from side. Just above right lower arm, sickle-shaped object, and unintelligible element. To right of woman, on level of head, large rectangular chest with three dots suggesting nail studs across top and second row of five dots across center, above which black band. Object rests on something with curvilinear outline.
Material:   Fine, hard-fired pinkish buff clay going to grey toward interior. Black glaze.
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., broken all around, glaze worn.
