Description: | Foreleg and part of body of kind of pot-support in coarse ware. Flattened, splayed, 'elephant" foot rising in short cylindrical leg to a crydely formed tray-like body of which a part of a finished edge or "rim" is preserved (more nearly continuing the vertical of the leg than did opposite edge.) Inside and out, rough-smoothed or pressed to shape. Cf. C-68-298. Cleaned in dilute HC1. | |
Material: | Coarse fabric, heavily loaded with mudstone temper and some other inclusions, micaceous. Fired dull orangey-buff through. Some fire-darkened patches. | |

Condition: | Fragment. Single frgt., broken across at top except for small bit of edge, periphery of foot chipped. | |
