Description:   Amphora with angular carination to slightly concave shoulder, short cylindrical neck and rolled rim. Double-rolled handle, both parts circular in section, attached below rim at an oblique angle and to lower part of shoulder. The body appears to have been roughly hacked away below the shoulder.
Material:   Hard light reddish brown fabric with abundant shell, a moderate amount of gold mica and sand(?), sparse rounded dark red grains. Surface fired light gray to pink.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6.5/4 surface: 2.5Y 7.5/2 5YR 7/3.5
Condition:   Fragment. Eight joining fragments preserve rim, handle, and shoulder. Nonjoining fragment in L1985-042.
