Description:   Baggy jar with oblique lower wall curving to rather flat upper wall. Slightly everted triangular rim. Cf. C-1973-410, which is earlier. Surface badly worn.
Decoration:   Upper wall on exterior and interior slipped red with a few drips (2.5YR 5-6/6). Large traces of red pigment preserved on interior.
Material:   Hard fired gritty light brown fabric with moderate number of small white and gray grits, sparse red inclusions and a little mica. Outer half of wall fired light red.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/4 outer wall: 2.5YR 6/6
Condition:   Fragment. Eight joining fragments preserve one side from above foot to rim; about 1/3 of rim preserved but worn. Nonjoining fragments in lot.
