Description:   Over-sized pilgrim jug, constructed like flat-bottom jar with neck, two handles placed just above "base"; cone-shaped neck. Two broad vertical strap handles W00.051, rise from just above max. diam. of body to neck.
Decoration:   Spirally grooved neck. Undersurface of bottom decorated in straight wavy matt black-painted lines. Body above handles decorated with carelessly executed sets of curved lines that cluster into what look like two spirals. Four brush strokes across upper strap handle.
Material:   Clay fired slightly pinkish at core to light green yellow at surface; where clay thick, goes to gray. Medium-sized chert and mudstone, very small particles of lime, very few small sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 2.5Y 5.6/4 Gray core: 10YR 6/2.5
Condition:   Missing parts. Numerous joining frgts., giving upper half of flask, preserving edge of flat side, much of body, 1/4 neck and one handle. Missing most of convex side of body.
