Description:   Late Roman C form 3 bowl. Vertical ring foot with a slightly beveled edge with flat resting and undersurface, convex body. Similar to Hayes LRC form 3 type B no. 2 (Hayes Late Roman Pottery, p. 330-331 no. 2, fig. 67)
Decoration:   Four rows of rouletting around interior tondo featuring longer rouletting lines alternating with shorter ones; at least four more rows of rouletting slighly up the interior side, also with alternating long and short lines; between these groups of rouletting, stamp with four double volutes (two pairs of opposed volutes in two rows) with a small circle in the center.
Motif similar to Hayes LRC no. 17 (Late Roman Pottery, p. 352-353 no. 17, fig. 73).
Material:   Fine light red clay with rare very small angular tabular pink inclusions and very rare small sparkling inclusions and no voids.
Munsell Color:   Between 10 R 6/8 (light red) and 2.5 YR 6/8 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining fragments preserve one-sixth of base and a small part of body
