Description:   Tall amphora with attenuated ovoid body with max. diam. just below shoulder; body curves into steep shoulder, which curves into tall neck which narrows, then widens slightly to base of rim. Rim H00.043, outward set and thickened with straight flaring profile, broad and flat on top with horizontal lip projecting beyond rim. Two vertical strap handles with 2 shallow grooves down back, attached to top of shoulder and folded against top of neck, where attachments reinforced with clay; handles pressed closely to neck.
Material:   Coarse sandy clay, fired pale yellow-buff at surface, to salmon pink at core, with c.15% or more fine black angular spherical and gray sub-rounded inclusions; surface rough.

Condition:   Missing parts. Numerous joining frgts., preserving upper 2/3 of body, complete neck to rim; lip chipped; both handles.
