Decoration:   Purplish red slip over all interior and exterior except for black to creamy-white band around the outer-rim surface, a discoloration resulting from firing. Cf. Hayes LRP, LRC Form 1A.
Material:   Fine purplish red clay with frequent medium to very large lime and black inclusions and voids.
Munsell Color:   Clay: 10R 5/6; slip: 10R 5/8.
Condition:   Complete profile. Single fragment preserving complete profile, 3/4 foot, 1/3 body, 1/4 rim.
