Description:   Stew pot with broad round bottom, ovoid body with maximum diameter below median of body; body constricts to flaring rim with squared lip; interior flange near bottom of rim for lid; two round horizontal handles attached at 45 degree angle on each side at narrowest part of body just before rim. As Corinth VII.3, p. 122, no. 656, pls. 27, 61 (C-47-826).
Decoration:   Two wheel grooves at level of handle attachments.
Material:   Coarse red clay fired dark reddish gray at core with frequent large to very large spherical rounded and platy sub-rounded white lime inclusions, few medium to very large white stone inclusions, few dark red and sparkling inclusions, and few voids.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 2. 5YR 5/8 (red), Core: 2.5YR 4/1 (dark reddish gray)
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining fragments preserving 1/3 bottom, 3/4 body, all of rim, both handles. One side cracked and indented due to misfiring.
