Description:   Lekythos-oinochoe with flaring ring foot with flat undersurface and flat resting surface, ovoid body, tall cylindrical neck, trefoil rim with rounded lip, vertical strap handle atteched at rim and on shoulder. Shape similar to Courbin, La Ceramique Geometrique de l' Argolide, 1966, pl. 23, no. C.459 (EG I), no. C.832 (MG I); Coldstream, GGP, 1968, pl. 3m, Cambridge GR-2-1943 (Attic MG I), pl. 42f, Chaeronea 100 (Boeotian MG).
Decoration:   Resting surface and undersurface reserved, exterior black glazed with multiple reserved lines on lower two thirds of body, reserved rectilinear metopal panel on neck with seven bands of zigzag decoration framed by three horizontal lines below and above, handle has horizontal bars down back with a vertical stripe along either edge. Similar decorative scheme to Courbin, La Ceramique Geometrique de l' Argolide, 1966, pl. 20, no. C.830 (MG II).
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with few large to very large tabular angular red, few large to very large tabular rounded white lime, and few medium gold micaceous inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete except for small chip missing from rim, mended from several fragments. Glaze worn.
