Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, slightly concave undersurface, flat resting surface, convex body, flaring rim separated from body, tapered lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all on interior and exterior, coated over with transparent light-yellow glaze over all of interior surface, lip, rim, and outer half of exterior. Decoration in cobalt-blue paint, bands on rim bordering cross-hatching at regular intervals, square medallion in center of interior surface bordered by dot-like leaves, double lines circumscribing a rhomboid pattern made of branches of leaves. Similar to Kirac, Canakkale Ceramics, 1996, pp. 24-25, nos. 7-9.
Material:   Fine, light-red clay with few medium to v. large golden mica, rare, at least one spherical angular L. 0.003 black, and angular rounded dark red inclusions. Rare fine voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 7/8 (light red)
Condition:   Complete profile. Four joining fragments preserving four-fifths of foot, two-thirds of body, and one-third of rim; complete profile.
