Description: | Aryballos with a low ring foot, rounded resting surface, slightly convex undersurface; globular body, short cylindrical neck and outward flaring rim with added strip of clay around rim ending before handle with a fairly deep groove on interior just below rim, rounded lip, vertical spined handle attached to neck just below rim and shoulder; two vertical grooves down handle; blob of clay applied to top of handle and at juncture of handle to rim creating a thumbhold. Decoration: | Red slip all over exterior and over rim down the interior neck. Two rows of rouletting around mid-body just below handle. | |
