Description:   Pilgrim flask with two small semi-cylindrical feet, body formed by two symmetrical halves shaped like carinated bowls and joined vertically at the "lip", a second pair of semi-cylindrical knobs on narrow side about two-thirds from the bottom, short conical neck inserted into body, rectangular hole cut through body at base of neck, outturned rim; vertical strap handles, attached to shoulder and rim.
Decoration:   Black glazed all over exterior, dripping from dipping on interior neck and upper quarter of body, grooves on knobs, two concentric grooves along edge of convex sides of body, second pair of grooves two thirds from center around rouletting.
Material:   Fine light brownish gray clay with rare, medium, black and white, few fine sparkling inclusions and rare, linear voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 6/2 (light brownish gray)
Condition:   Fragment. Numerous (at least fourteen) joining fragments preserve half of body circumference, neck, one handle; one side of body partially RIP; glaze moderately worn. Non-joining fragments stored in Lot 06-38, NB 982, B 56.
