Title:   MINIATURE SAUCER WITH FLANGE

Description:   Miniature saucer with flange. Slightly concave bottom, rounded convex body to slight inward flange, flaring rim, squared lip. Horizontal upturned loop handle attached on outside of rim and projects above it. Similar to KV 1211 (unpublished).
Decoration:   Mottled red and black glaze all over.
Material:   Fine pink to yellow clay fired pink at core with rare medium angular tabular brown inclusions and no visible voids
Munsell Color:   Surface: between 7.5YR 8/4 (pink) and 10YR 8/6 (yellow); Core: 7.5YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Complete profile. Four joining fragments preserve 1/3 of rim and body, 1/5 of base and one handle. Glaze worn.
