Writing:   stamp. Square stamp with rounded corners, near center of vessel, Latin: CRIS / PINI. O-C, pp. 174-6, no. 561, C. Crispinius, probably of Arezzo (ca. 10 BCE - 10 CE). Cf: C-33-333, C-29-121.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with few medium rounded inclusions
Munsell Color:   Clay: 5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow); Slip: 2.5YR 4/8 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt preserving center of plate, broken at ring base, broken on all sides.
