Description:   Amphora with small round peg toe, globular body to rounded shoulder, short cylindrical neck to flaring rim with thickened rounded vertical lip distinguished from body by groove on interior. Two round strap handles attached at shoulder and mid-neck. Similar to Palazzo 2013, type II, pp. 16-17, figs. 29, 33-35, 38.
Decoration:   White-slipped surface, ridge at upper handle attachment and at point where rim begins to flare outward.
Material:   Medium coarse pink clay with rare small-medium subrounded tabular white, orange and dark gray inclusions, rare fine clear sparkling inclusions, and rare small voids
Munsell Color:   Surface: 10YR 8-7/4 (very pale brown); Core: 2.5YR 7/6-8 (light red)
Condition:   Complete profile. Many joining frgts., preserving all of base, most of body, all of rim and two handles. Joining frgts., from contexts 112, 125, 129.
