Description:   Articulated kantharos with flaring ring foot, nippled undersurface, biconical body, and tapered rim. Similar to C-1947-154 (Edwards 1975, Corinth 7.3, cat. 486) and Lot 2005-6:17 (James 2010, cat. 56, pl. 7).
Decoration:   Single incised line borders handle zone. Black glaze on exterior and interior. Painted white horizontal line just below lip with necklace of painted white dots below (not continuous). Similar to C-1947-154 (Edwards 1975, Corinth 7.3, cat. 486) and Lot 2005-6:17 (James 2010, cat. 56, pl. 7).
Material:   Fine pink clay with rare, small, rounded, tabular black inclusions and few, small voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5 YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Complete profile. Three joining frgts., preserving all foot, 3/4 body, and 1/3 rim. Well-preserved black glazed on exterior; interior with some flaking.
