Description:   Saucer. Slightly flattened base, shallow spreading body, slightly outturned rim, almost horizontal. FS 237? (but no base)
Decoration:   Exterior slipped and painted. Band around base, traces of a curved vertical stripe motif with two groups of seven stripes, band at rim. Interior slipped and painted. Interior of body covered in a curvilinear design, possibly floral, along with groups of four wavy lines. Rim has short strokes along it.
Material:   Fine clay
Munsell Color:   Surface: 10 YR 8/4 (very pale brown), Paint 5 YR 4/4 (reddish brown) to black
Condition:   Complete profile. 2 joining fragments preserve 1/2 base, 1/2 body, 1/3 rim, no handle
