Description:   Lateral sima with projecting fascia along bottom H00.035, vertical panel decorated with acanthus spray: at lt. a bell-shaped acanthus leaf from which rises either second spirally fluted leaf or stalk, surface largely broken away. From stalk springs one spiralling tendril made with double coils with flat surface, and acanthus furled leaf, curving to lower rt.; between two hangs bell-shaped flower. Rt. joint smooth.
Decoration:   Traces of white slip.
Writing:   inscribed. Inscribed with raised letters from mould, along base of panel: CIOC
Material:   Coarse tan clay fired to pink at core with numerous fine to coarse inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface: Between 7.5YR 6/6 and 10YR 7/4 (art. lt.)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., preserving bottom, most of vertical panel, right joint preserved; broken above and at left joint.
