Description: | Handmade female figurine wearing long tunic, standing with weight balanced, left arm bent and holding spherical object, right arm held away from body. Face formed by doubling top of head down, nose and mouth slightly modelled. Applied polos. Tunic falls to feet, which are indicated by small triangular projections. Solid. Similar to, and likely from the same hand as, KT 1-195 (Stillwell 1952, Corinth 15.2, inv. I, 56) from Deposit 2. Style similar to horse and rider figurines from Deposit 1. | |
