Description:   Figurine of draped, standing, female, comic actor. Figure stands with bent left arm jutting outwards, resting hand on hip, bent, raised right arm lifts himation from head just above ear. Weight distributed on straight left leg, relaxed right leg is bent with foot drawn back. Head H. (with himation) .01. Top of head veiled with himation. Worn down, slightly distended belly, unworked, pared back. Draped in long himation which is used as veil and falls to triangular point over left knee. Long chiton under himation falls in vertical folds near shins and reaches ankles. Small, rectangular base. Solid. Moldmade with tooling on back. Cf. MF 14019, MF 14022, MF 14025, Athens 6070 (1198; P 304), Athens 5850, London 1951.7-31.1, Amsterdam 261. Likely mask V (MMC 3rd ed.).
Decoration:   White slip.
Material:   Fine, very pale brown and reddish yellow clay, with very rare, small, spherical and tabular, sub-rounded, brown and sparkling inclusions
Munsell Color:   10YR 7/4 (very pale brown) and 5YR 7/8 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Missing parts. Mostly complete, missing left foot and left side of base. Chipping on left side, very worn. Traces of white slip on veil and belly.
