Description:   Lamp with concave bottom, straight flaring body, broad low-sloping rim, concave disk framed by groove, 2 fill holes on vertical axis, tapering nozzle, solid lug handle.
Decoration:   Rim: unintelligible; disk: gladitorial scene with retiarius at lt. bent in profile to rt., rt. arm down; at lt. armored gladiator, obscure. For type see L-XXXX-2654.
Material:   Coarse red clay fired brown at surface with common fine white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Core: near 5YR 5/4; surface: no good match
Condition:   Complete profile. Intact except for hole in bottom; heavily encrusted. Burning on nozzle.
