Description:   Lamp with flat leaf-shaped bottom, vertical sides with convex perofile, broad flat rim, ridge framing deep concave disk with 5 fill holes in a quincunx, air hole at edge of disk, tapering nozzle with large fill hole, solid lug handle.
Decoration:   Bottom: 2 grooves; rim: herringbone; disk plain. horizontal grooves between disk and wick hole. Handle: 2 grooves on top.
Writing:   inscribed. Inscribed on bottom: Greek: XIO/NHS
Material:   Semi-coarse dark gray clay with common tiny white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Near 10YR 4/2
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact except for surface chip on side of nozzle.
