Description:   Terracotta solid handmade dancer from group moving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Dancer has flat wide strip of clay applied around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, rectangular face, not attached to neck, tilted to rt, broad short neck, convex chest, long flat strips as arms, lt arm overlapped by rt arm of adjoining dancer, and flattened body, oval in section. Similar to KT2-11 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 8 pl. 4) and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).

Material:   fine pink clay with light gray core with rare fine sparkling inclusions and few small tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   Surface: 7.5YR 8/4 (pink), Core: 7.5YR 7/1 (light gray)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining pieces preserving single dancer from head to waist, part of rt and half of lt arm. Traces of white slip.
