Description:   Mouldmade terracotta figurine of standing female figure with high, wide flaring polos with depressed top. Short incised line curls frame forehead, long hair with horizontal lines for curls. Short, oblong face with very large eyes, thin nose with large flaring left nostril, thin neck, wide sloping shoulders. Right arm held tight to side, bent at elbow with curving forearm held across breast holding circular object, not obviously but perhaps a bird. Left arm held tight to side, bent at elbow with forearm across belly, with left hand holding round object (fruit?), cupping it from below. Wears peplos with low curving overfold with straight edge across thighs then drooping down; long vertical folds fall from below waist to overfold, small pleats fall from right elbow to lower overfold, long vertical folds fall straight from below overfold between legs to hem, stretching tightly across lower legs, narrowing before flaring at hem and pooling over feet. Feet flat on thick projecting rectangular base.Figurine solid. Back handmade and unmodelled, with large, rough depression on back. Clay added to back of head only casually applied, with seam between moulded face and unmodelled clay visible on both sides. Similar to KT4-90 (Corinth XV.2 Class X p. 94 no. 32 pl. 16). Standing Kore with Dove and Fruit Type.

Condition:   Complete or intact. Two joining frgts., preserving complete figurine. Heavily worn.
