Description:   Terracotta solid handmade dancer from group moving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Dancer has thin flat strip of clay applied low around front of head as polos tilting slightly down to rt, clay overfold from back to front as small head tilted to rt and backward, triangular face, thin neck, flattened chest, large wide long flat strip arms, pinched in at shoulder and flaring out, lt arm of adjoining dancer overlaps rt arm, pinched together, upper body tilted to lt, flattened cylindrical body flaring at bottom as attaches to base. Fingerprints on arms. Similar to KT2-11 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 8 pl. 4) and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).

Material:   Fine pink clay with reddish yellow core with frequent fine sparkling and rare small tabular angular orange inclusions and rare medium tabular rounded voids

Condition:   Fragment. Single piece preserving dancer from head to flaring feet. Missing lt arm. Chipped on bottom. Traces of white slip.
