Description:   Terracotta solid handmade dancer from group moving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Dancer has flat strip of clay applied tightly around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as small head, small semi-circular face, broad neck, neck and head tilted to rt slightly, flattened chest, flat strip arms stretching toward other dancers, upper body tilted backward slightly, long cylindrical body pinched on sides near bottom creating bulge in back, extra stip of clay applied around bottom to secure to base. Fingerprints on lower body. Similar to KT2-11 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 8 pl. 4) and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).

Material:   fine pink clay with few fine sparkling, rare ver large platy angular black, and few small to very large spherical angular white inclusions and rare medium tabular angular voids

Condition:   Fragment. Single piece preserving dancer from head to feet. Missing most of both arms. Encrusted. Traces of white slip.
