Description: | Terracotta solid handmade standing female with polos formed from thin applied clay strip wrapped over front of head, clay overfold from back to front for head, oblong face with pinched vertical ridge in center, slight indentation for lt eye and incision for mouth, broad flat neck curving into round strip arms, rt extending straight out, body, oval in section, flaring near bottom into two pinched splayed feet. Fingerprints on head face, and neck. Similar in form to KT1-197 (Corinth XV.2 Corinth Class I Late Group no. 57 p.41-42 pl. 4) but with painted eyes but may be from a Dancing Group however none have this type of face. | |

Material: | Fine pink clay with few fine sparkling and rare small to large spherical angular white inclusions and few medium tabular angular voids | |

Condition: | Fragment. Single piece preserving female from head to feet. Missing most of polos but preserving impression, most of both arms, and rt foot. Broken across base. Traces of white slip and paint. | |
