| Description: | Terracotta solid handmade group of dancers moving in circle with arms joined around central figure (flutist). Each dancer has wide thick strip of clay applied tightly around front of head as polos, clay overfold from back to front as head, wide semi-circular face, broad short neck curving out into flattened strips of clay as arms pinched together with neighboring arm of dancer, chest flattened , cylindrical body pinched at waist and above feet before flaring near base. Fingerprints overall. Similar to MF-14352 and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4). | |
