Description: | Solid sandaled left foot tapering to sharp end above ankle. Foot flat on bottom, toes separated by incisions. Sandal held to foot by straps of applied clay: one encircling the back down to sides, another pair from sides up to ankles to join at instep and descend to toes; one beneath it across top of toes. Straps on instep thinner and held together by applied clay rectangle. Similar to KT 25-43 (Stillwell 1952, Corinth 15.2, p.236, cat. 2) dating to late 6th c. BC. | |
