Title:   PLASTIC VASE: TWIN KISSING DWARVES

Old Number:   Former MF-7 from L.T. Shoe box of antiquities.
Description:   Vase in form of two crouching figures facing with mouths, hands and knees touching. Both wear fluted, long conical hats, row of fringe framing face, large ears. Each wears a garment around shouldrs, back and bottom, with round cushion beneath. Whole on a circular plinth, flaring at bottom with fillet at top. Bottom closed. A projecting mouth has been restored between two heads. Back unmodelled, no vent hole.
Decoration:   No paint traces.
Material:   Sandy. slightly coarse tan clay, fired dark red at top(restoration)
Munsell Color:   5YR 6.5/6 (Reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Two joining fragments, upper one a restoration made before piece confiscated.

Findspot Description:   From box of antiquites 1930. Stolen in 1990, returned on 01/25/2001.
