Description:   Handmade terracotta figurine of a squatting or seated female figure, possibly grotesque. Head smooth, with (short?) hair added in black paint. Low forehead with heavy eyebrows made of applied clay. Eyes deep-set but small and perhaps squinting. Nose large and rounded, but flat at tip (like pig snout). Mouth slightly parted with defined lips. Cleft chin. Ears large, long and rectangular, project sideways out from face but curl back toward head at tip. Entire facial expression appears leering or grimacing. Neck thick. Body nude, with large, pendulous breasts that taper to point. Arms hang by sides; right arm rests on right knee, which is pulled up due to figure's squatting posture. Right foot wide. Back smoothed but largely unmodelled except for slightly concave or in-curving back and large buttocks, which rests on ground between feet. Bottom of figurine flattened. Figurine solid. See MF-78-28 for similar, but moulded, head and hair.
Decoration:   Hair rendered by black paint.
