Description: | Chert flake. Roughly rectangular in shape. Proximal end retains the striking platform and part of the bulbar depression. Uneven edges on long sides. Conchoidal fractures on interior face; outer face has at least three flake scars from previous removed flakes; one of which has a brown patina. Distal end has been snapped into a low, broad triangular point. No signs of retouching. Dimensions of striking platform: 0.007 x 0.004; minimum thickness of less than 0.001. | |
