Description:   Biconical loomweight with narrow slightly concave bottom, slightly rounded flaring body to bevel at H00.020, curved sides above bevelling tapering to tip where horizontal suspension hole; Profile IX-X, cf. Corinth XII, no 1152.
Decoration:   Light brown slip over all.
Writing:   stamp. Stamped above the bevelling in oval stamp, a lomweight, below the bevelling in rectangular stamp, NIKO upside down. Cf. Corinth XII, no 1152.
Material:   Medium-coarse reddish yellow clay with few medium to very large black, red, and lime inclusions and voids, and few medium silver sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 8/4; slip: between 10YR 8/2 and 2.5YR 8/2.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete except for small chip missing from the tip, numerous cracks on the surface, traces of burning below bevelling.
