| Description: | Terracotta female standing figurine wearing a polos, with a coil attached on top. Holds out offerings with both hands, possibly a bird on her right, but unidentifiable (fruit?) on the other. Hair is stylized and thick in manner of Daedalic figurines, falling at sides of faces. Facial features not distinguished. Peplos appears simply rendered with minimal folds, with overfold to waist, center plain, pleat falls on sides of body. Mouldmade on the front, handmade on the back. Similar but not identical to Corinth XVIII.4, p. 83, C9, pl. 1 (MF 10536); XII.2, p. 30, no. 94, pl. 6; XV.2, Class X. | |
