Description:   Knife handle with iron blade inside, oval in section, with triangular end, as MF 4480 (Corinth XII, p. 196, no. 1499, pl. 89).
Decoration:   Straight shaft polished, bounded on both ends by three incised lines, turns into triangular end pierced by three holes, two from side and one vertically from the top, the vertical one communicating with one of side holes; side holes separated by five incised diagonal lines; triangular tip beyond second side hole, animal muzzle?, with a dot/eye? And a mouth-like diagonal line, cf. MF 4480.
Material:   Bone from a cow or a horse metapodial (Bone identification by Flint Dibble).
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete, cracked all the way through from iron blade inside and blackened in lower half with traces of iron corrosion.
