Description:   Mouldmade terracotta stele with snake and helmet. Helmet of Corinthian type with tall and very long plume, details sharply outlined. Plain moulding at top of rectangular stele. Snake's head does not touch top moulding. Snake's tail appears to touch bottom moulding or pedestal. Back flat. Front and back of figurine covered in white slip or white paint. Red paint and yellow paint on helmet. Figurine solid. Perhaps from same mould as MF-1033.
Decoration:   White slip or white paint over all. Red paint and perhaps yellow paint on helmet.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Infact, with white paint or white slip preserved over all. Traces of red paint and perhaps yellow paint overlaid on helmet.
Period:   4th c. B.C.
Chronology:   late 4th or early 3rd c. B.C.
Findspot Description:   1903 deposit.
