Description:   Bronze finger ring, type Q (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, p. 231). Hoop circular in section, flattened at points of attachment to edge of bezel, soldered on underside. Similar to MF-2015-23.
Decoration:   Engraved on thin, circular bezel: two figures, right one bearded(?) both wearing decorated garments and facing front, holding tall cross between them with both arms bent at elbow, raised up. Simple engraved border around whole. Figures represented geometrically. Similar to MF-2015-23.
Material:   Bronze.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving bezel and small part of hoop at each side of bezel. Most of hoop missing. Cleaned July 2015.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
Chronology:   12th c. or later, according to Corinth 12
