Description: | Hollow mouldmade running figurine poss. a soldier; folds of chlamys drape down from waist in V-shaped folds in front above knee. Lt. leg is slightly bent forward, round kneecap, well-defined musculature, thick ankle, long toes. A strap for a sandal wraps across the ankle with a round protusion in the center. Figure leaning forward on the balls of the foot giving a sense of movement. Sandal similar to KT25-29.1 and body similar to Cloaked Boy Type I (Hesperia XLIII, p. 212-217, 240 no. 87 pl. 37). | |
Decoration: | White slip covers the drapery. Red paint on drapery, pink paint on exposed leg and brown paint for sandal on the bottom of foot. | |
